We are employees of the University of Portsmouth organising this
conference on behalf of the University and European Network of Qualitative

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images
with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website
can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if
your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and
is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login
information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two
days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember
Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the

What data we collect
Along with submitted data in the Abstract Submission form, we also collect the time, IP address and device used for submission. This is used by the website for mail storage purposes.
Who we share your data with
Your data will be held on the University of Portsmouth servers that can only
be accessed by University of Portsmouth staff. Personal data will not be
shared outside of the Congress Committee, apart from your full abstract
which will be shared via an abstract book located on this site. This book will
have you name, institution and full abstract.
Any abstracts that are peer reviewed will be emailed to selected reviewers.
These will not contain any personal information, only the abstract and it’s
title. We will allocate a number to each abstract for peer review purposes.
How long we retain your data
This site and associated email account will be active for three months after
the end of the congress. These will be closed by 30th April 2023.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have submitted an Abstract, you can request
to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you,
including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we
erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data
we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
